Prof. Vincenzo Pacillo is serving from 1/11/2005 as associate professor at the Law Faculty of Modena and Reggio Emilia University, holdering the following courses:
Ecclesiastical and religions law; Canon Law.
He was also  Professor of Institutions of Public Law course in the “laurea magistrale” in Law Allievi Ufficuali e Ufficiali Allievi (class LMG/01) at the Modena Military Academy for the academic years 2007-2008 and 2008-2009.
Since the academic year 2005-2006 to 2008-2009 he was professor with a contract of " State - Church Relations" in the “laurea specialistica” in "International politics and diplomacy” at the Faculty of Political Science, Padua University.
He worked as a professor in the (first level) Master in Religious Pluralism: identity, conflicts, dialogue between faiths (mpr) – academic year 2007/2008 at Modena and Reggio Emilia University.
He has worked as professor in the (first level) Master in Public and Political Communication in the academic year: 2006/2007, 2007/2008, 2008/2009, and 2009/2010 at Pisa University.
He is part of the Professors board of the Doctorate in Canonical and Ecclesiastical Sciences with administrative offices at Macerata University.
And he is member of the Executive Committee of the Institute of Canon law and Comparative law of religions (DiReCom) at the Theological Faculty of Lugano, where he carries out regular research activities.
He is part of the register of revisers for programmes evaluation of ministerial research.
He is editor of the ICLARS Newsletter.
He is a member of the editorial board of the reviews "Daimon" and "Veritas et Jus"
